MANILA, Philippines — GAC Motor Philippines has officially launched the GAC GS4 MAX HEV, expanding its SUV lineup with a hybrid model aimed at growing families looking for efficiency, space, technology, and everyday versatility.
Priced at an introductory PHP 1,218,000, the GS4 MAX HEV combines a dedicated hybrid powertrain with a spacious cabin and a long list of comfort and safety features.

Hybrid Power with Up to 1,250 km of Range
Powering the GS4 MAX HEV is a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle dedicated hybrid engine paired with a 2-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) and a 2.1 kWh Nickel Cobalt Manganese battery.
The system can operate in multiple modes, including Pure Electric, Hybrid, Direct Engine Drive, and Energy Recuperation. Combined output is rated at 232 hp (173 kW), while maximum motor torque reaches 300 Nm.
According to GAC, the GS4 MAX HEV can deliver a total combined driving range of up to 1,250 km on a single tank, offering the convenience of long-distance driving alongside the responsive feel and efficiency associated with electrified motoring.
Designed with Families in Mind
The GS4 MAX HEV measures up as a proper family SUV, with a 2,750 mm wheelbase and a wide 1,901 mm body designed to maximize passenger space across both rows.
Inside, the SUV features a Minimalist Black interior, panoramic glass roof with electric sunshade, rear air vents, acoustic insulation, and smart storage areas throughout the cabin.
The zero-pressure comfort seats are designed to provide support on longer journeys, while the second-row seats fold flat to create a larger and more practical cargo area for strollers, luggage, sports equipment, and other family essentials.
Packed with Safety and Technology
Safety is another major focus for the GS4 MAX HEV. It comes with a robust safety-cage body structure and an extensive airbag system, including front, side, second-row side, and curtain airbags.
The SUV also features a Level 2 driver assistance suite, which includes:

On the outside, the GS4 MAX HEV features a bold Qilin-inspired front fascia, Qingyun Ladder matrix grille, Morning Star LED headlights, full-width LED taillights, and electric hidden door handles.
Pricing and Colors
The GAC GS4 MAX HEV carries a suggested retail price of PHP 1,298,000. However, customers who reserve until September 30, 2026 can avail of an PHP 80,000 introductory saving, bringing the price down to PHP 1,218,000.

All variants come with the Minimalist Black interior.
Reservations are now open at GAC dealerships nationwide. The GS4 MAX HEV is backed by a 5-year or 150,000 km basic warranty, along with an 8-year or 150,000 km warranty for the power battery, driving motor, and motor control unit.
GAC Philippines currently supports customers through its nationwide dealer network, parts warehouse, and roadside assistance program.
