GAC Philippines is preparing to expand its local lineup with the introduction of three new Multi-Purpose Vehicles (MPVs), bringing a broader range of options for Filipino families and executive buyers. The upcoming models—the All-New GAC GN6, GAC E8 HEV, and GAC GN8 PHEV Executive—cover the entry-level, premium hybrid, and flagship luxury MPV segments.
The launch builds on GAC’s strong global presence, where the brand has established itself as one of China’s leading MPV manufacturers. With more than 4.7 million MPV owners worldwide, GAC aims to bring its expertise in spacious, family-oriented vehicles to the Philippine market.
All-New GAC GN6
Designed as a practical seven-seater for growing families, the All-New GN6 focuses on everyday usability, interior flexibility, and fuel efficiency.
Power comes from a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine capable of delivering an estimated driving range of up to 728 kilometers on a full 52-liter fuel tank, averaging around 14 km/L.
Cargo space is one of the GN6’s highlights. It offers 324 liters of luggage capacity with all seven seats occupied, while the third-row seats fold flat beneath the floor to expand storage to 1,100 liters, enough to accommodate up to fourteen 20-inch suitcases.
GAC E8 HEV
Positioned in the mid-to-premium segment, the GAC E8 HEV combines hybrid efficiency with a spacious, comfort-focused interior.
It is powered by a 2.0-liter ATK hybrid engine paired with a 2-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), delivering a combined driving range of over 1,000 kilometers.
Inside, the E8 HEV features a 2,930 mm wheelbase and a flat-floor cabin designed to maximize passenger space. Second-row occupants are treated to zero-gravity seats with ventilation and massage functions, while power sliding doors, a low step-in height, large glass areas, and Level 2 driver assistance systems contribute to a more comfortable travel experience.
GAC GN8 PHEV Executive
Sitting at the top of the lineup is the GAC GN8 PHEV Executive, a plug-in hybrid luxury MPV designed for large families and corporate use.
The flagship model combines plug-in hybrid technology with an estimated combined driving range of up to 1,038 kilometers and an all-electric driving range of up to 120 kilometers under the NEDC test cycle.
Its premium cabin features second-row captain’s chairs upholstered in semi-aniline leather with ventilation, heating, massage functions, and adjustable leg rests. Additional features include an acoustically insulated cabin, multi-zone climate control, an integrated ceiling-mounted display, and dual power sliding doors.
Global Growth and Local Support
The Philippine expansion follows a significant milestone for GAC Group, which recently surpassed 30 million cumulative vehicle production and sales globally.
The company attributes its growth to decades of collaboration with Toyota and Honda, continuous investment in hybrid technology, and advanced manufacturing facilities that have helped establish its reputation in the MPV segment.

Internal combustion engine models are backed by warranties of up to five years or 150,000 kilometers, while electric vehicles receive an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty, alongside an eight-year or 200,000-kilometer warranty for the core electric drive system. New owners also receive two years of complimentary roadside assistance.
